According toBuzzfeed News, Mrs. Pon and Mr. Bon launched their Insta account when their daughter, Ms. May, suggested they do so. The reason for their unique style choices was pretty simple - because they noticed they already had matching hair. Fair enough, why the heck not?

Mrs. Pon told Buzzfeed: "Since we both have gray hair, we thought it'd be funny to match our fashion styles, so we started wearing clothes of the same color and patterns."

Despite being in their 60s, they both look completely badass and haven't let their looks slide. If anything, they're both getting stronger. Although they've been together nearly four decades and married for over three, it wasn't until recently that they decided to come out as a fashion-fuelled double act.

"When I was young, I found matching styles embarrassing, but at this age, I no longer feel ashamed," added Mrs. Pon.

"We decide based on how we feel each day. We like monotones, red and blue, so inevitably we decide on colors we both like."

When discussing the secret to their solid relationship, Mrs. Pon explained that because of her husband's busy work schedule, they didn't spend all day in each other's pockets. That said, they've been enjoying quality time together since retiring in March.

Speaking about the retirement back in 2017, Mrs. Pon said: "We'd like to recover the time we missed and live the rest of our lives happily together."
