NASA Scientist Explains Why Planet Earth Won’t Be Destroyed By Nibiru

Apparently, we should have been getting our affairs in order, because if Armageddon theories prove correct, we will be wiped out this weekend. Most of the theories surrounding this date point to Nibiru, or Planet X, a large planetary object that has been zooming through space and is expected to collide with our lovely Earth.

It says: "The planet in question, Nibiru, doesn't exist, so there will be no collision. The story of Nibiru has been around for years... and is periodically recycled into new apocalyptic fables.

"Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an internet hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth... astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously, it does not exist."

Apparently, the planetary masswillbe visible to the naked eye this weekend - you know, just before it crashes into us, causing an almighty galactic mess. The people touting this theory are pointing to Bible verses, which 'accurately' predict that the next few days will definitely be our last.

Earlier this year, amateur stargazer and Christian numerologist David Meade predicted that the world would end in September, based on analysis of Bible verses and the positions of the stars and planets.

He claims that proof lies in the Old Testament - the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 13, verses nine to 10, specifically. It reads: "See, the Day of the LORD is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger - to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.

"The Stars of Heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising Sun will be darkened and the Moon will not give its light."

"The Moon involved is called a black moon. These occur about every 33 months. In the Bible, the divine name of Elohim appears 33 times in Genesis. The eclipse will start in Lincoln Beach, Oregon - the 33rd state - and end on the 33rd degree of Charleston, South Carolina.

"Such a solar eclipse has not occurred since 1918, which is 99 years - or 33 times three."

So many threes.

Even if Nibiru misses our planet then some theorists claim that it could cause our magnetic poles to switch or cause earthquakes, tsunamis or volcanic eruptions. So either way, if this mysterious planet - that no one has been able to find - does come anywhere near us, we're fucked.
