Harry Potter fans out there, rejoice: the first teaser trailer forFantastic BeastssequelThe Crimes of Grindelwaldis here and it looks like it's going to be a doozy:
The film is a sequel to 2016's hugely successfulFantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, a Harry Potter spin-off originally written by J.K. Rowling and turned into a film.
From the teaser trailer, the movie looks like exactly what the film's producers promised from the off - a dark expansion of theFantastic Beastsuniverse with new characters, good and bad, to go alongside Eddie Redmayne's hero Newt Scamander.
That's not to say there won't be fan service though, as the trailer features a prominent scene with a younger Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) at his office at the famous wizarding school Hogwarts.
At the end of the trailer, we even catch a glimpse of Johnny Depp in action as the film's villain Gellert Grindelwald, who was captured at the end of the first film after he was revealed to have been in disguise as high-ranking Auror Percival Graves.
The footage shows Depp's Grindelweld being transported to or from a wizarding prison, looking worse for wear with long hair and white skin, guarded by two wand-wielding Aurors. Something tells us he'll get loose somehow...
"I can't move against Grindelwald; it has to be you," Law's Dumbledore tells Newt ominously. Looks like a second clash between Newt and Grindelwald is on the cards.
The team behindFantastic Beastsalso released a new poster for the movie, with Dumbledore's presence suggesting that he will be a prominent sidekick for Newt inThe Crimes of Grindelwald:

The Crimes of Grindelwaldwill move the action from New York to Paris as Newt pairs up with Dumbledore to track Grindelwald down again after he escapes from wizarding custody.
Just one of the new characters in the movie will be Newt's ex-love interest Leta Lestrange, played byBig Little Liessupporting star Zoë Kravitz. The film will also see the return of familiar faces such as Auror Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), her sister Queenie (Alison Sudol), and Newt's mate Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler).
The film - directed by Harry Potter stalwart David Yates and written again by Rowling - is set to come out on 16 November this year - just in time for the Christmas rush.
On this evidence, you might want to start thinking about where you'll sit at the cinema now.
